In order to adapt stamping production technology to the needs of future development, stamping production technology and equipment itself must be changed. The current situation is that there are not only products that can be processed by old stamping machines with high production capacity, but also products that need to be produced by new high-tech stamping machine tools with high performance and high production flexibility. This situation will continue for a period of time when new and old technologies are intertwined.

So far, various topics about the "future stamping plant" are gradually becoming consistent, which is mainly due to the consideration of capital costs. It is hoped that there will be high-performance stamping production equipment with better performance than the current one. Today, this kind of stamping production line has been used not only in automobile manufacturers, but also in some automobile parts suppliers. Among them, changing the products produced by stamping equipment and increasing product varieties have become important factors to measure whether the design and integration capabilities of stamping equipment are outstanding.

The realization of all kinds of stamping processes has its basic motion mechanism, which is closely related to the mold. The structural design and mechanical design of all kinds of molds are ultimately to meet the requirements of realizing specific motions. Whether the designed die can strictly complete the movement required for realizing the stamping process directly affects the quality of automobile stamping parts, so the mechanical movement should be controlled in die design. At the same time, in order to meet the requirements of product shape and size, it should not be restricted to or limited to the basic motion modes of various processes, but should be constantly developed and innovated, and the mechanical motion should be flexibly used in mold design.
