The purpose of the separation process is to separate the stamping parts from the sheet according to the established goals, and at the same time, it must ensure that the quality of the separation section meets the standard requirements.

Generally, the precision of stamping parts is very good, basically the same size of the same module is basically the same, the surface is smooth, and it has good inner quality. Causes of stamping die loss

(1) The material of the main working parts of the mold is wrong, and the material is not properly selected. The material has poor properties and is not wear-resistant; the die steel is unrefined and has a large number of smelting defects; the convex and concave dies, the forging billet and the forging process are not perfect, and there are still hidden dangers in heat treatment.

(2) Die structure design problem, die structure is unreasonable. The slender punch is not designed with a reinforcement device, the discharge port is not smooth and there is accumulation, and the unloading force is too large, so that the punch is subjected to alternating loads and so on.

(3) The molding process is not perfect, mainly manifested in the poor internal quality of the convex and concave die forging blanks, and the heat treatment technology and process are problematic, resulting in impermeable hardening of the convex and concave dies, soft spots and uneven hardness. Sometimes microcracks or even cracks occur, the grinding and polishing are not in place, and the surface roughness value is too large.

(4) No lubrication or lubrication but the effect is not good. The surface treatment processes of automotive stamping parts are: gold plating, silver plating, nickel plating, and galvanizing.

Gold plating: gold plating on the surface of the workpiece is not only beautiful, but also not easy to oxidize, but the cost is relatively high.

Silver plating: A layer of silver is plated on the surface treatment, the contact resistance is less, and the conductivity is better, and it is not easy to oxidize.

Nickel plating: Nickel plating is a common treatment method for the surface treatment of automobile stamping parts. Its function is to facilitate the welding of products, not easy to oxidize, and has better conductivity.

Galvanized: beautiful, anti-rust, improve its protective and decorative functions.

The role of surface treatment in the production of automotive stampings is to resist oxidation, conduct electricity more easily, prevent rust, decorate and improve product performance.
