How to solve the problem of welding distortion of automobile stamping parts?

The manufacture of automobile stamping parts is a forming and processing method to produce plastic deformation or separation of sheet, strip, pipe and profile by applying external force to the press and die, so as to obtain the required shape and size of workpiece (stamping parts):

1. The designed stamping parts must be conducive to improving the utilization rate of metal materials, reducing the variety and specification of materials, and reducing the consumption of materials as much as possible. If allowed, low-cost materials shall be used to make the parts free of scrap and less scrap blanking.

2. The designed stamping parts shall be able to use the existing equipment, process equipment and process flow as much as possible to process them, and be conducive to the extension of the service life of the stamping die.

3. The designed stamping parts must be simple in shape and reasonable in structure, so as to simplify the die structure and the number of processes, that is, to complete the processing of the whole part with less and simple stamping processes, to reduce the use of other methods for processing, to facilitate the stamping operation, to facilitate the organization of mechanization and automatic production, and to improve labor productivity.

4. When the designed stamping parts can be used normally, the requirements of dimensional accuracy level and surface roughness level should be lower as far as possible, which is conducive to product exchange, reducing waste products and ensuring product quality stability.

In the welding and making die of stamping parts, the shape of stamping parts is formed by cutting the surplus materials around the stamping parts. The main reason for turning and twisting of stamping parts is the influence of blanking force. During blanking, due to the existence of blanking gap, the material is stretched on one side of the die (material warps upward), and compressed on the side of the punch.

When the unloading plate is used, the unloading plate is used to compress the material to prevent the material on the die side from warping upward. At this time, the stress condition of the material changes correspondingly. With the increase of the pressing force, the material on the punch side is stretched (the compressive force tends to decrease), while the material on the die surface is compressed (the tensile force tends to decrease).

The turning of stamping parts is caused by the material on the die surface being stretched. Therefore, when punching, pressing and pressing the material is the key point to prevent the punching parts from turning over and twisting.
