In addition to forming thick plates by water press, stamping equipment generally adopts mechanical press. With modern high-speed multi position mechanical press as the center, equipped with uncoiler, leveler, finished product collection, conveying and other machinery, as well as mold library and rapid die change device, and controlled by computer program, a high productivity automatic stamping production line can be formed.

I. a strict inspection system shall be established in the production process. The first parts of automobile stamping parts must be inspected comprehensively, and they can only be put into production after passing the inspection. At the same time, patrol inspection shall be strengthened, and accidents shall be handled in time.

2. Adhere to the civilized production system, such as the transmission of workpieces and billets must use appropriate working position instruments, otherwise the surface of workpieces will be damaged and scratched, which will affect the surface quality of workpieces.

III. during the stamping process, the mold cavity shall be kept clean, and the orderly processed workpieces in the workplace shall be placed in order.

IV. raw materials must conform to the specified technical conditions (strictly check the specification and brand of raw materials, and test and inspect the workpieces with high dimensional accuracy and surface quality requirements when conditions permit).

V. all links specified in the process procedures shall be strictly observed.

Vi. the stamping equipment used shall ensure normal operation.

Mold part terminology:

Upper die: the upper die is the upper half of the whole die, that is, the die part installed on the press slider.

Upper die seat: the upper die seat is the top plate-shaped part of the upper die. When the workpiece is close to the press slider, it is fixed by the die handle or directly with the press slider.

Lower die: the lower die is the lower half of the whole die, i.e. the part of the die installed on the working table of the press

Upper die: the upper die is the upper half of the whole die, that is, the die part installed on the press slider.

Upper die seat: the upper die seat is the top plate-shaped part of the upper die. When the workpiece is close to the press slider, it is fixed by the die handle or directly with the press slider.

Lower die: the lower die is the lower part of the whole die, that is, the die installed on the working table of the press.

Lower die base: the lower die base is a plate-shaped part on the bottom of the lower die, which is directly fixed on the working table or base plate of the press when working.

Cutting edge wall: the cutting edge wall is the side wall of the cutting edge of the die hole.

Cutting edge slope: the cutting edge slope is the slope of each side of the punching die hole wall.

Air cushion: air cushion is a kind of spring top device with compressed air as the driving force.

Opposite side pressing block: the opposite side pressing block is a part supporting one-way stress punch from the other side of the working face.

Guide sleeve: the guide sleeve is a tubular part that provides precise guidance for the relative movement of the upper and lower die bases, most of which are fixed in the upper die bases and used in combination with the guide pillars fixed in the lower die bases.

Guide plate: the guide plate is a plate-shaped part with a precise sliding matching inner hole with the punch, which is used to ensure the mutual alignment of the punch and the die, and plays the role of unloading (parts).

Guide post: the guide post is a cylindrical part which provides precise guidance for the relative movement of the upper and lower die bases. Most of them are fixed on the lower die bases and are used together with the guide sleeves fixed on the upper die bases.

Guide pin: the guide pin is a pin-shaped part extending into the material hole to guide its position in the die.

Guide die: guide die: the die is a die with guide plate as guide. The punch does not break away from the guide plate when the die is used.

Guide plate: guide plate is a plate-shaped guide part that guides strip (strip, roll) material into the die.

Guide pillar mould base: the guide pillar mould base is the mould base of guide pillar and guide sleeve sliding each other.

Stamping die: the stamping die is a process equipment installed on a press for the production of stamping parts, which is composed of two parts: the upper part and the lower part.

Punch: a punch is a convex working part in a punch that directly forms a punch, that is, a part whose working surface is the shape.

Female die: female die is a female working part which plays a direct role in forming stamping parts, that is, the part whose internal shape is the working surface.

Guard plate: guard plate is a plate-shaped part to prevent fingers or foreign matters from entering the dangerous area of the die.

Press plate (ring): the press plate (ring) is a part used to press the stamping material or process parts to control the material flow in the die. In the drawing die, the press plate is mostly called the press ring.
