I. brake failure

When braking is used in driving, the car cannot slow down or stop; after one or more consecutive braking, the braking suddenly fails to work. The causes of the failure may be oil or air leakage of the brake pipeline, rupture or falling off of the pipeline joint, failure of the brake sealing element, etc.

II. Poor braking effect

When braking is required during driving, the braking force is obviously insufficient, the brake pedal position is low or the empty stroke of the brake pedal is large, the braking effect is still poor after continuous multi foot braking during braking, and the braking distance and braking time are significantly increased during emergency braking. The reasons for the failure may be that the sealing of the brake sealing element is not tight or the piston and cylinder wall of the brake cylinder are loose, there are bubbles in the brake oil circuit, the brake element is in poor contact or the brake friction plate is greasy.

III. brake drag

After the brake pedal is raised, it still has the braking effect, which makes it difficult for the car to start, driving powerless, brake drum heating, and the sliding distance shortened. The reasons for the failure may be that the clearance between the brake elements is too small, the brake shoes cannot be returned due to the failure of the return elastic elements, and the matching parts of the brake control mechanism are rusted, making it difficult to return.

IV. braking sideslip or deviation

When braking, the car deviates to one side, which is mainly caused by the inconsistency of braking force or braking time on the left and right sides. The reasons for the failure may be the unequal gap between the brake elements on both sides, the greasy dirt on the brake friction plate on one side, the failure of the return elastic elements on one side, which makes the brake shoes unable to return, the frame deformed, the front axle displaced, etc.

V. poor parking brake

When the parking brake is applied, the car is easy to start or slip when parking on the slope. The fault may be caused by improper adjustment, uneven surface of brake disc (drum), serious wear of brake friction plate or oil contamination, etc.

Vi. the brake system makes abnormal noises or makes abnormal noises when braking

The fault may be caused by serious wear of the brake friction plate or damage of the friction plate, loose spline of the transmission shaft or loose coupling bolt, etc.

VII. ABS fault light is on
