The steel used for cold stamping is mainly steel plate and strip, accounting for 72.6% of the total steel consumption of the vehicle. On stamping parts, is the strength of heat treatment lower than that before heat treatment?

The answer to this question is not necessarily because the key lies in the heat treatment process, mainly the heat treatment temperature. Generally speaking, the brittleness of metal will increase after cold stamping. Therefore, heat treatment or blackening is carried out to improve the plasticity of stamping parts. If it is a low temperature process, its strength will be reduced, but if it is annealed at high temperature, it will not have a great impact.
